Details

  • Watermelon can be found under 'Misc Appliances' . [ Search for 'Watermelon '  the search bar for easy access]
  • Can be found from Seed packets
  • Cost - 25 simoleons 
  • Can be planted and harvested
  • Watermelon is tagged as a a Fruit , so can be used in recipes which require fruit as a cooking ingredient. (Custom recipes to come )
  • Cannot be eaten directly - has to be sliced first
  • Eco pack compatible 
  • University compatible ( can be stored in dorm chest)
  • Compatible with RoM spells and Island Living conservationist career.
  • Can be sold using City Living Craft sales table, Grocery market stall
  • Toddler compatible (aka toddlers can eat the harvestable, play with the plant)
  • Pets Compatible
  • Growing season : Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter (ALL seasons)

Interactions

  1. Slice Watermelon - Gives a plate of watermelon slices in the inventory. A single slice of watermelon can be grabbed from the large plate ( Included in this package). Slicing watermelon has a custom animation.

  • Eating a slice of watermelon will give a moodlet/buff
  • +2 Energized
  • 120 sim minutes
  •  'One In A Melon'

A slice of watermelon can also be found under Snacks category of Custom Food interactions on the fridge ( Requires Custom Food Interactions_Latestversion)




Use Increased Hunger Bonus Mod if you want the sims to gain more hunger motive points from eating harvestables

    Hello! Unfortunately many plants are not working properly after the last patch (I found pomelo, orange, corn, vines, etc. not working). The same with cows (they stopped giving milk and during milking they lost one leg).

    Hi! I have a question.. I've noticed my Sims are going for the slice of watermelon constantly, no matter there are other options. I don't have the Increased Hunger bonus mod, and frankly it's making me a bit nuts :/ Is there a way to tune down their attraction to it?
